Day 0 of VMworld – Travel and Registration day.
At least for us it did. It all started at sunday morning gathering at nine, between half past nine and ten we got behind the wheel and steered the car from the Netherlands through Germany to Copenhagen, Denmark. In Germany we spotted the guys from VMguru.nl.

Yesterday at DELLWorld, Brett Roscoe, executive director of data management solutions at Dell announced the integration of the newly acquired products in the vStart offering. This explicitly means that Dell Force 10 networking and Dell Compellent storage will be available as part of the vStart offering in 2012.

On Wednesday October 5th, KPN consulting (formerly known as Getronics Consulting) organized a VMworld wrap-up session in their headquarters in Zoetermeer. The main part of the audience was KPN-staff, but also other people interested could attend this session. As a former KPN/Getronics employee it was nice to see some familiar faces again.

Today I visited VMware Forum 2011 in Den Bosch (NL). I calculated a long trip but fortunately there were no traffic jams along the route. I even got there before the initial ETA of the TomTom of my car. After a croissant and a black coffee it was time for the keynote.
