Running Live Writer from USB
What to do if you have something you want to share by blogging about it but you’re limited to using the online post editor with lack of features at customer sites where you’re not allowed to use your own laptop and/or forced to use a locked down office PC.
I came across this post in which the author explains the creation of a portable live writer which runs in a sandbox from your USB-stick without the need of being an admin. Ideal for kiosk, college or otherwise locked down pc’s.
I do not want to keep it to myself alone…

Now let’s hope they do not block USB ports
